Gender Affirming Surgical Readiness Evaluations

We recognize that gender affirming surgical care is often a crucial, life-affirming step in your journey. Our goal is to provide a truly understanding, low barrier, and comprehensive evaluation for Surgical Readiness Letters for adults in Maryland. We follow WPATH guidelines and Standards of Care.

Evaluations typically consist of one 90-minute evaluation, which can be completed either in-person or by telehealth.  Depending on the circumstances presented during the evaluation, it is possible that one follow-up appointment will be needed.

We are in-network with Carefirst, Cigna, Aetna, and Johns Hopkins EHP. If you are out of network or uninsured, we reserve spaces to complete Surgical Readiness Evaluations on a sliding scale each month.
